Ingredients

  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • fresh parsley for garnish

Equipment

  • Large Skillet

Method

  1. Pat the chicken drumsticks dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the drumsticks until golden brown on all sides.
  3. Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits from the pan. Add heavy cream and stir until combined.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, cover, and simmer for 25–30 minutes until fully cooked and tender.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

If the sauce is too thin, simmer uncovered to thicken. Feel free to add extra garlic for a stronger flavor. This dish pairs perfectly with mashed potatoes, rice, or vegetables.
