Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 boneless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup mushrooms optional, sliced
  • 1/4 cup sour cream optional

Equipment

  • Crockpot

Method

  1. Place the chicken at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated.
  4. Add sliced onions and mushrooms on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  6. Optional: Stir in sour cream before serving for extra richness.

Notes

For extra flavor, sear the chicken before adding it to the crockpot. If the sauce is too thin, thicken it with a cornstarch slurry near the end of cooking.
