  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 flour tortillas medium size
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Optional Toppings
  • 1/4 red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup pickles chopped
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mustard optional

Method
 

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks (about 6–8 minutes).
  2. Lay a tortilla flat. Sprinkle cheese over one half, then top with cooked beef and optional toppings like onions, pickles, or ketchup. Fold tortilla in half.
  3. Place the quesadilla in a skillet over medium heat. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and the cheese is melted. Repeat for remaining quesadillas.
  4. Slice into wedges and serve warm with dipping sauces if desired.

Notes

To reheat: use a skillet or air fryer for best results. For freezer storage, wrap tightly and freeze up to 1 month. Feel free to use ground turkey or plant-based meat for variations!
