  • 1 turkey breast bone-in or boneless, skin-on preferred
  • 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth low sodium preferred
  • 1 tsp paprika optional, for color
  • 1 tbsp fresh herbs such as rosemary or thyme, optional

Method
 

  1. Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels and rub it all over with butter or olive oil.
  2. Sprinkle poultry seasoning, salt, pepper, paprika, and herbs evenly over the turkey.
  3. Place chopped onion and garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Pour the chicken broth into the slow cooker.
  5. Set the seasoned turkey breast on top of the vegetables.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with your favorite sides.

Notes

For added crispness, place the cooked turkey breast under the broiler for 3-5 minutes. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
