Method
- Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels and rub it all over with butter or olive oil.
- Sprinkle poultry seasoning, salt, pepper, paprika, and herbs evenly over the turkey.
- Place chopped onion and garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Pour the chicken broth into the slow cooker.
- Set the seasoned turkey breast on top of the vegetables.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with your favorite sides.
Notes
For added crispness, place the cooked turkey breast under the broiler for 3-5 minutes. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
