- Place the chopped potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add the green beans and diced ham on top.
- Pour the chicken broth over all the ingredients.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.
- Once the potatoes are tender and the flavors have blended, stir gently.
- Serve hot with dinner rolls or cornbread if desired.
Notes
For the best flavor, use quality smoked ham. Adjust the amount of broth depending on whether you prefer a stew-like consistency or a thicker side dish. Taste before adding extra salt, as ham can already be quite salty.
