Ingredients
  

Base
  • 2 bulbs garlic whole, unpeeled
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice or balsamic glaze
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs parsley or chives, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the tops off the garlic bulbs, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 40–45 minutes until golden and soft.
  2. Once cool, squeeze the roasted garlic cloves into a mixing bowl.
  3. Add cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice (or balsamic), and chopped herbs. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve warm or at room temperature with garlic bread, crackers, or veggie sticks.

Notes

For extra indulgence, sprinkle shredded cheese on top and bake until bubbly. You can also add roasted red peppers, smoked paprika, or fresh rosemary for added depth.
