- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté onions and garlic until soft and fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Stir in tomato paste and crushed tomatoes. Cook for 2–3 minutes to deepen flavor.
- Add dry spaghetti (broken in half), beef broth, salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Stir to combine.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 12–15 minutes, stirring often, until pasta is tender and sauce has thickened.
- Remove from heat, let rest for a few minutes before serving. Optional: top with grated Parmesan.
Notes
Customize by adding vegetables like mushrooms, carrots, or zucchini. For a lighter version, use ground turkey or whole wheat pasta. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
