Ingredients

Chicken
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts thinly sliced or pounded to even thickness
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour for dredging
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter divided
Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped, for garnish

Equipment

  • Skillet

Method

  1. Pat chicken dry, then season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Lightly dredge in flour.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add remaining butter to skillet. Sauté garlic until fragrant. Pour in white wine and reduce slightly.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer until thickened, about 3–4 minutes.
  5. Return chicken to skillet, coat with sauce. Garnish with parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

Optional: Add mushrooms or red pepper flakes for variation. Serve with mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables. Sauce can be revived with a splash of cream when reheating.
