Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 lemons juiced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • chopped parsley for garnish

Equipment

  • Large Skillet

Method

  1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear until golden, about 5–6 minutes per side.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, stirring until fragrant.
  4. Pour in lemon juice and chicken broth. Stir and scrape any browned bits from the pan.
  5. Let the chicken simmer in the sauce for 8–10 minutes, or until fully cooked and sauce is slightly reduced.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot with your favorite side dish.

Notes

You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts—just adjust cooking time as needed. Serve over rice, noodles, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables. This dish also freezes well and can be reheated without losing flavor.
