- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, egg, Parmesan, almond flour, garlic, Italian seasoning, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to combine.
- Scoop small portions (about 1.5 tbsp each) and form into 1-inch meatballs. Insert cheese cube if using.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add meatballs in batches and brown on all sides, 5–7 minutes.
- Drain excess oil if needed. Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine, cover, and simmer on medium-low for 12–15 minutes.
- Taste sauce and adjust seasoning. Garnish with parsley or cheese if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
Try stuffing the meatballs with cheese or switching the sauce for a creamy garlic version for variation. Leftovers store well for 4 days or can be frozen for later.
