- Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice hot dogs into thick chunks and score lightly for extra caramelization.
- Toss hot dogs with a little oil and Sweet Rub (salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika).
- Spread on baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes until slightly crisp.
- Meanwhile, combine BBQ sauce, butter, brown sugar, and honey in a bowl to make the glaze.
- Toss baked hot dogs in the glaze and return to oven for 10–15 minutes until sticky and caramelized.
Notes
Try variations like maple-mustard glaze, spicy jalapeño, or cheesy burnt ends. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3–4 days and reheat in the oven or air fryer for best texture.
