Method
- Pat chicken breasts dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 5–7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Push chicken to the edges and add minced garlic to the center. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in honey and soy sauce. Stir gently to combine and let it simmer until the sauce begins to thicken.
- Spoon the glaze over the chicken repeatedly while it cooks, flipping to coat both sides evenly.
- Remove from heat and serve with rice or vegetables. Sprinkle with red chili flakes if desired.
Notes
Want a twist? Add a splash of lemon juice for brightness, or a pinch of sesame seeds and chopped scallions for garnish. Leftovers are great over noodles or tossed into salads the next day.
