Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • red chili flakes optional, for heat

Equipment

  • Skillet

Method

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 5–7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Push chicken to the edges and add minced garlic to the center. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in honey and soy sauce. Stir gently to combine and let it simmer until the sauce begins to thicken.
  5. Spoon the glaze over the chicken repeatedly while it cooks, flipping to coat both sides evenly.
  6. Remove from heat and serve with rice or vegetables. Sprinkle with red chili flakes if desired.

Notes

Want a twist? Add a splash of lemon juice for brightness, or a pinch of sesame seeds and chopped scallions for garnish. Leftovers are great over noodles or tossed into salads the next day.
