Method
- Place the chicken in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Layer the baby potatoes, carrots, green beans, and diced onion over and around the chicken.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ketchup or chicken broth to create the sauce.
- Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken and vegetables in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours, or high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender and vegetables are cooked through.
- Before serving, spoon the sauce from the bottom over the chicken and vegetables. Serve hot.
Notes
Want a thicker sauce? Remove some of the liquid near the end and simmer it on the stove to reduce. Also great served with rice or bread!
