- Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the tomato sauce and diced tomatoes. Stir well.
- Add beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and dry macaroni. Stir to combine.
- Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cover and cook for 12–15 minutes until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.
- Sprinkle mozzarella over the top, cover again for a few minutes to melt (optional).
- Serve hot and enjoy with your favorite sides!
Notes
You can swap ground beef with lentils or plant-based crumbles for a vegetarian option. Add extra veggies like bell peppers or mushrooms for more nutrition.
