Ingredients

For the Steak
  • 1 lb frozen steak thawed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic steak seasoning
For the Sauce & Pasta
  • 1 pack cheese tortellini
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Pot
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board

Method

  1. Thaw the steak, pat it dry, and cut into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic steak seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Sear the steak bites until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
  3. Cook cheese tortellini in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine. Simmer for a few minutes, then stir in parmesan cheese until the sauce is creamy.
  6. Add the cooked tortellini and steak bites to the sauce. Toss gently to coat everything well.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Swap heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version, or add mushrooms and spinach for variety. Leftover steak works great too!
