Preparation
- Start by mixing warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it rest for 10 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and melted butter to the yeast mixture. Knead for 10 minutes until the dough becomes smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough gently and divide it into equal portions. Roll each piece into a smooth ball.
- Let the rolls rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 375 °F (190 °C) for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
- While still warm, brush generously with easy garlic butter.
Garlic Butter Preparation
- Melt ½ cup butter in a saucepan.
- Add minced garlic and sauté lightly until fragrant.
- Stir in a pinch of salt and chopped parsley.
Notes
These rolls freeze beautifully. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature, or refrigerate for up to 5 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
