Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 12 slider buns or mini Hawaiian rolls
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce plus extra for dipping
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 24 slices pepperoni thin slices
Topping Mixture
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan
Optional Toppings
  • sliced olives, diced peppers, or cooked sausage optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice slider buns in half horizontally, keeping tops and bottoms intact.
  3. Place bottom halves of the buns in a baking dish.
  4. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the bottom buns.
  5. Sprinkle half the mozzarella over the sauce.
  6. Arrange pepperoni slices over the cheese, add optional toppings, and top with remaining mozzarella.
  7. Cover with top halves of the buns.
  8. Mix melted butter with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and Parmesan. Brush over the tops of the buns.
  9. Cover dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake 5 more minutes until tops are golden and cheese is melted.
  10. Let sliders cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Make these ahead by assembling the sliders and refrigerating until ready to bake. You can also freeze baked sliders and reheat later in the oven.
