Method
- Cut the steak into large chunks for even cooking.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the steak pieces for added flavor (optional).
- Place sliced onions and mushrooms at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add the seared steak on top of the vegetables.
- Mix beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika, then pour over the ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours until the steak is tender.
- Stir gently before serving and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For a richer flavor, add a splash of cream or red wine at the end. The dish pairs perfectly with mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles and tastes even better the next day.
