  • 2 pounds steak (sirloin, chuck, or stew meat) cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper to taste
  • optional herbs and spices such as thyme, rosemary, or red pepper flakes

Method
 

  1. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Season the steak with salt, pepper, and any desired herbs or spices.

  4. Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours, or until steak is tender.
