Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1.5 pounds smoked sausage sliced
  • 1.5 pounds baby potatoes halved or quartered
  • 1 pound fresh green beans trimmed
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
Seasoning & Liquid
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • red pepper flakes optional, for heat

Equipment

  • Crockpot
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board

Method

  1. Wash and prepare the vegetables: halve or quarter the potatoes, trim the green beans, slice the onion, and mince the garlic.
  2. Layer ingredients into the crockpot: potatoes at the bottom, followed by green beans and onions, then top with sliced sausage.
  3. Season everything with paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
  4. Pour the chicken broth around the sides of the crockpot to keep everything moist.
  5. Cover and cook on Low for 6–7 hours or on High for 3–4 hours, until the potatoes are tender.
  6. Stir gently before serving. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Use sweet potatoes or add carrots for variation. Frozen green beans can be used, but add them halfway through the cooking time.
