  • 2 packages refrigerated ravioli cheese or your favorite variety
  • 3 cups marinara sauce homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese mixed with herbs
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Italian seasoning to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked ground beef or sausage optional, for meat variation

Method
 

  1. Spray the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom.
  3. Add a layer of ravioli to cover the sauce.
  4. Dollop spoonfuls of ricotta mixture over the ravioli.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan over the top.
  6. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with cheese on top.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 2-3 hours.

Notes

Use refrigerated ravioli for better texture. Customize with meat or veggies, and don’t peek during cooking! Add fresh basil before serving for a fresh finish.
