Method
- Season the cubed steak with salt, pepper, and any preferred seasonings.
- Place the sliced onions and garlic at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Lay the seasoned cubed steak over the onions in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, stir together the cream of mushroom soup and beef broth. Pour over the steak.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until steak is tender.
- Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles. Enjoy!
Notes
You can brown the steak before slow cooking for added flavor. Add vegetables like carrots or potatoes for a full one-pot meal. Leftovers keep well and taste even better the next day.
