Method
- Generously season the beef roast with salt and pepper.
- Optional: In a hot skillet, sear the beef on all sides until browned to add extra flavor.
- Place beef, sliced onion, minced garlic, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce into the slow cooker.
- Cook on LOW for 8–10 hours or HIGH for 4–6 hours until the beef is tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the egg noodles. Cook until noodles are tender.
- Serve hot, optionally garnished with parsley or over mashed potatoes.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use homemade beef broth. You can also add vegetables like mushrooms or carrots for extra heartiness. Freeze before adding noodles if storing for later.
