Ingredients

Chicken
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 4 chicken legs
Sauce
  • 1.5 cups BBQ sauce your favorite brand
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Crockpot
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Baking Sheet

Method

  1. Rinse and pat dry chicken thighs and legs. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Place in the crockpot skin-side up.
  2. In a bowl, mix together BBQ sauce, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Pour over chicken in crockpot.
  3. Cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  4. Optional: Transfer chicken to a baking sheet and broil for 3–4 minutes to caramelize the BBQ glaze.
  5. Serve warm with your favorite sides like coleslaw or corn on the cob.

Notes

Use thick BBQ sauce for a richer glaze. Avoid overcrowding the crockpot to ensure even cooking. Save extra sauce for serving.
