Method
- In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic, cheese, and optional chili flakes.
- Warm tortillas slightly to make them pliable. Add a few tablespoons of filling in each tortilla and roll tightly.
- Brush the outside of each taquito with olive oil.
- Place the taquitos in an air fryer basket (seam side down) and air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot with dipping sauces like marinara, ranch, or garlic aioli.
Notes
You can prepare the taquitos in advance and refrigerate before air frying. Perfect for game nights, snacks, or a cozy dinner. Swap the chicken for beans for a vegetarian version.
