Ingredients

Steak
  • 1 lb sirloin steak or ribeye, sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
Pasta & Sauce
  • 12 oz pasta penne or fettuccine
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • fresh parsley for garnish

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Pasta Pot

Method

  1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer gently for 3–4 minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and sliced steak to the skillet. Toss to coat, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Add mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor, or swap the steak cut to suit your preference. This dish reheats well and makes excellent leftovers.
