Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz spaghetti
Beef
  • 1 lb ground beef
Sauce
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Drain excess grease if needed.
  3. Push beef to one side, melt butter in the skillet, and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Lower heat, pour in heavy cream, and simmer 2–3 minutes. Gradually add cheddar and parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth. Add reserved pasta water if sauce is too thick.
  5. Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet, toss until coated, and cook together for 2 minutes. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

This dish is perfect for weeknight dinners and is easily customizable. Add mushrooms, spinach, or swap ground beef for turkey or chicken.
