Method
- Lightly spray the inside of your Crockpot with non-stick spray or rub with butter. If using vegetables, layer them on the bottom.
- In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Pat the turkey breast dry and brush all over with melted butter. Rub seasoning mix evenly onto the turkey.
- Place the seasoned turkey on top of the vegetables (if using) or directly in the Crockpot. Pour broth around (not over) the turkey.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Optional: For a browned top, transfer the turkey to a baking sheet and broil for 3–5 minutes.
- Let the turkey rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain. Serve warm.
Notes
You can use leftover cooking liquid and vegetables to make a quick gravy. Prep the turkey ahead and store it seasoned in the fridge overnight for extra convenience.
