- Wash and prepare the potatoes, carrots, onions, and garlic. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic.
- Place the potatoes and carrots at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add the seasoned chicken on top and spread the sliced onions over everything.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup with chicken broth and pour the mixture over the ingredients in the crockpot.
- Add butter pieces across the top, cover, and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 4–5 hours until the chicken is fork-tender and potatoes are soft.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Serve warm with crusty bread or a fresh salad.
Notes
This Amish Crockpot Meal can easily be customized with beef, sausage, or additional vegetables like peas, corn, or green beans. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
