- Grate or finely chop the potatoes into a bowl. Press with a clean towel or paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Add the chopped onion, beaten egg, flour, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings. Mix until fully combined into a thick batter.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Shape about 2 tablespoons of the mixture into small fritter patties.
- Lightly oil the air fryer basket. Place the fritters in a single layer with space between them.
- Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crisp on the outside. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding grated cheese or finely chopped herbs. Serve with yogurt dip, sour cream, or garlic mayo for an irresistible snack or side.
