Method
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Season chicken chunks with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- Dip each chicken piece into the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture. For extra crunch, double-dip in egg and breadcrumbs.
- Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with oil. Place nuggets in a single layer without overcrowding.
- Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Notes
Freeze breaded nuggets before air frying for extra crunch. For gluten-free version, use GF breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes.
