Ingredients
  

Chicken Nuggets
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized chunks
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs panko preferred for extra crunch
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional, adds flavor
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • cooking spray or olive oil for greasing the air fryer basket

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season chicken chunks with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  3. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. Dip each chicken piece into the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture. For extra crunch, double-dip in egg and breadcrumbs.
  5. Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with oil. Place nuggets in a single layer without overcrowding.
  6. Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Notes

Freeze breaded nuggets before air frying for extra crunch. For gluten-free version, use GF breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes.
