Method
- In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined. Form into 1-inch meatballs.
- Place meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
- While the meatballs cook, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes. Gradually add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss the cooked meatballs in the Alfredo sauce, or serve the sauce on the side for dipping. Garnish with parsley or extra cheese if desired.
Notes
Use a cookie scoop for evenly-sized meatballs. Meatballs can be made ahead and refrigerated up to 24 hours before air frying. Add red pepper flakes to the Alfredo for a spicy kick or use almond flour for a low-carb version.
