This Banana Chocolate Chip Bread is ultra-moist, packed with rich banana flavor, and loaded with melty chocolate chips. Perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a sweet snack!

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed 🍌
- ½ cup (120ml) melted butter or coconut oil 🧈🥥
- ½ cup (100g) brown sugar 🍯
- 2 large eggs 🥚
- 1 tsp vanilla extract 🌿
- 1 ½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour 🌾
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt 🧂
- ½ tsp cinnamon (optional) 🌿
- ¾ cup (130g) chocolate chips 🍫
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Mash bananas in a large bowl. Stir in melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gently fold in the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips, reserving some for the top.
- Pour batter into the loaf pan, smoothing the top, and sprinkle remaining chocolate chips.
- Bake for 50–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy warm!
Notes
Use overripe bananas for the sweetest flavor and moist texture.
