Ingredients
- π 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- π§ 1 tsp salt
- πΏ Β½ tsp black pepper
- πΆοΈ 1 tsp smoked paprika
- π§ Β½ tsp garlic powder
- π― ΒΌ cup honey
- πΆοΈ 1 tbsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- π₯ 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- π§ 1 tbsp butter
- π« 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down and cook for 7β9 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden brown. Flip and cook for another 5β7 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter, then add honey, hot sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Stir and let simmer for 2 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the pan, spooning the glaze over the thighs. Cook for another 2β3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
