- 12 oz (340g) fettuccine or pasta of choice 🍝
- 2 chicken breasts, diced 🍗
- 6 slices bacon, chopped 🥓
- 2 tbsp butter 🧈
- 3 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream 🥛
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese 🧀
- ½ tsp salt 🧂
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning 🌿
- ½ cup pasta water (if needed)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) 🌿
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In the same pan, add diced chicken and cook in the bacon grease until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- Melt butter in the skillet, then add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Let simmer for 3–5 minutes until thickened.
- Return the cooked pasta, chicken, and bacon to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce. Add a bit of reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
