- 2 large eggs 🥚
- 1 tsp vanilla extract 🌿
- 1 ½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour 🌾
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt 🧂
- ½ tsp cinnamon (optional) 🌿
- ¾ cup (130g) chocolate chips 🍫
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Mash bananas in a large bowl. Stir in melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture, stirring until just combined (do not overmix).
- Fold in chocolate chips, reserving some for topping.
- Pour batter into the loaf pan, smooth the top, and sprinkle extra chocolate chips.
- Bake for 50–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy warm!

Use overripe bananas (with brown spots) for maximum sweetness and moisture.
