These Apple & Honey-Glazed Chicken Tenders are the perfect balance of sweet and savory! - 1 lb chicken tenders π
- 1 tbsp olive oil π«
- Β½ tsp salt π§
- Β½ tsp black pepper πΏ
- Β½ tsp garlic powder π§
- Β½ tsp paprika πΆοΈ
For the Apple Honey Glaze:
- 1 cup apple cider π
- ΒΌ cup honey π―
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp soy sauce π₯’
- Β½ tsp cinnamon πΏ
- 1 tbsp butter π§
- 1 small apple, finely diced π
Instructions
- Season the chicken β In a bowl, toss chicken tenders with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Cook the chicken β Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Make the glaze β In the same skillet, add apple cider, honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, and cinnamon. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce & thicken β Add butter and diced apples, cooking for 5-7 minutes until the glaze thickens slightly.
- Coat & serve β Return the chicken to the pan, tossing to coat in the glaze. Serve warm with your favorite sides!
